PDBEB course “Neurodegenerative disorders” CNC Auditorium April 23-27, 2018
Organizers: Ana Cristina Rego and Cláudia MF Pereira
Objectives: This course will focus on the latest research in the field of neurodegenerative diseases, by converging on the study of basic mechanisms of neurodegeneration that occur in Alzheimer s disease (AD), Parkinson s disease (PD), and polyglutamine expansion diseases (Ataxias and Huntington s disease). Moreover, clinical and neuropathological aspects, as well as therapeutic strategies of these disorders will be addressed.
